hormones eh?

Two nights ago, while our DVD player is broke, and while I was bored to death, I borrowed my housemate's latest book. It was For One More Day by Mitch Albom, and it was about a down-in-luck guy who got to spend a day with his dead mother.
After reading it I felt so sad I cried a bucketful. I don't know if it was the book that made me cry, my raging hormones, or because my boyfriend suddenly told me he will resign his new job - which means another year (!) of waiting for him.
Maybe its the latter. I feel so sad that after a year and 11 months malabo pa din ang chance for us to see each other again. I was hoping he will stick to his plan, which was to stay with his job, even if it was difficult, then pass the LEED exam and be a certified architect there. Of course that would've meant more money for him(us), and I was hoping he'll be able to get me here. Instead, I don't think that will happen. I don't want to tell him not to quit his job, or pressure him into anything, but it feels really sad that once again, I'll be spending my birthday, christmas, anniversary, by my lonesome self. I was even thinking what if I emulate chick benetta(he's the guy in the novel)? maybe if i jump off a water tower I'll get to spend just a day with him..

I like answering 'surveys' as they call it on friendster. Maybe because it helps me know myself a little better. Here is one of them. Since this isn't friendster, I'll elaborate on my answers so you, the reader, will know something about me.

>>cess.. my nickname is princess. Well its supposed to be because I was the firstborn and I was to be treated like one. hihihi.

>>neither. I'd rather be called by my name, or chieffy. That's how my boyfriend and I call each other.

>>I'd rather watch TV. ummm, actually I'm getting hooked on TV again, since our DVD player is broken.

>>bored. that's why im doing this.

>>lots of things. like my pillows, clothes I discarded, books, crossword puzzles, bags..its a jungle!

What are you looking forward to?
>> my birthday? I really don't know if i'm excited, or actually dreading it. I'm gonna be a quarter of a century year old. huhuhuh

Do you miss anyone?
>>As a matter of fact, I do. I miss a lot of people, but the top of my list is my boyfriend. I miss him to death.

>>in edmonton, alberta, canada. geez google map cannot calculate the distance. haha

When will you smile?
>>i'm always smiling. even if I don't have a perfect smile. I'm happy by nature.

>> where was I last Friday night?umm. at work I guess. so yes.

What are your plans for Saturday night?
>>spend it at home. Imma homebody these days.

What other windows do you have open besides this one?
>>yeah, 5 tabs at mozilla- I have mylot(get paid to chat!), ok cupid (just another quiz site), wikipedia(im always looking for sumthing),and google maps. 2 explorer(for work).

What are you going to eat for dinner?
>>i've had dinner. it was chicken curry.

Do you knock or ring the doorbell?
>>i don't think most houses here have doorbells. I'd rather yell. haha

>> I don't know how to take them. seriously.

>>I do. but there are moments..

>>I don't. I like to be spontaneous.

>>I did. It was from denley, it says I have a birthday gift, and I can claim it in so and so, singapore. wahaha. He wants me to go to singapore, all expenses paid, except for the fare.

>>too many..but again, top on the list, is harvey.

>>I would hug and kiss him! and scream and laugh and cry at the same time. God I really miss him.

>>Um, harvey. and myself. haha

>>dying inside. wahaha. our office DJ's choice. not mine.

>>not really. wahaha.

nostalgia

Walking around the campus makes me feel nostalgic..Ahh memories, some are happy, some are sad, but mostly I remember the good times I had in UP diliman, and in my org, UP ibalon. when I saw the new tambayan, i was really saddened by its state, and it makes me realize that the past is really the past and a lot had changed..
Thanks to peachy for the picture. I cut allan! haha..nope, they're not orbs, they are dust particles floating in the air caught by the flash and reflected on the actual image. (see, that's what I learned from working at SONY)

my friday the 13th

Whoever started the urban legend that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day?
I guess let me tell you about my day instead. I was supposed to wake up early because I wanted to go back to my old office to finish my clearance, but it was a very cold morning I decided to sleep some more. When I waked up at 12 noon my housemate's sister was cooking something so I wasn't able to boil water for my daily morning coffee fix. Then when I used the loo the toilet was clogged. My god I think I spent 15 minutes just trying to get mc arthur out of the way. Catching a cab was pretty easy, but we spent another few seconds waiting for my officemate and luckily, we arrived at work just in time, actually with 3 minutes to spare.
So far my day was going well, when I felt a stab of pain in my stomach area. I thought I was having IBS again, but when I felt sticky liquid coming out of me, I just know that my monthly visitor's here. Bad, because I wasn't exactly prepared, i didn't have a pad with me, but good, because I was able to find 1 easily.
The night is still young, so much can still happen, well if this is a lucky day or what, que sera, sera.

Hmm...i had another epiphany..my friend allan bought some vcds for peach for her birthday... He said he saw it on her blog's wish list. Since my birthday is coming up to maybe I should write one myself. I want so many things, i don't know who will read this, but if you're generous enough, here's my address. wahaha. jk.
Anyways, here's my top ten wish list:
1. headphones. preferably a sony MDR-NC60 but since its worth 200 dollars i'll settle for CD-r king L800 or NP860 or a TDK MP 100..hehe
2. gift cert from people are people. i need a new pair of jeans.
3. DVDs - any korean love story/comedy combo's good enough 4 me.
4. an MP3/MP4 player that can hold 1g and that can be used as file storage.
5. diablo ii expansion or sims 2 installer.
6. slippers/sandals. my shoe size is 9 or 10.
7. a free hair treatment.
8. a new cellphone. harhar - umm..i like W700 or w500, or i can settle for a 5500. hehe
9. one way plane ticket to canada.
10. harvey, wrapped in bubble wrap shredded paper or any padding material.

I think mickey deserves to win more. If you don't see any previous PBB episodes and saw what happened last night you would agree. Think of it this way..You are in a contest, 3 of you vying for the big win, when you got eliminated. The contestants who stayed told you, "we're so happy for you!" what will your reaction be?
